History Happy Hour: Presented by Knoxville History Project

April 14 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

For April’s rendition of the Knoxville History Project, historian Jack Neely will share his research on the mysterious Eugenia Williams – the heiress to a significant fortune built from her father’s early, successful investments in Coca-Cola. Daughter of Dr. David H. Williams, she was a reclusive, wealthy figure known for the 10,800-square-foot mansion she built in Knoxville on Lyons View Pike (which opens to the public later this month). Jack has traced her early youth in the Gilded Age Knoxville, her extraordinary parents, their family tragedies, and her dramatic marriage.

The program is free to attend, with the kitchen + bar open for purchase.
