History Happy Hour: Presented by the Knoxville History Project

This month’s program includes guest speaker Professor Mary Campbell, who is working on a book about the art of Beauford Delaney. She will give an illustrated presentation of her research. A Lindsay Young Professor of Art, she may be UT’s only art professor who also has a law degree from Yale University, with a specialty in intellectual property – the subject of some of her art lectures. Her art scholarship is wide ranging; she’s also known as an authority on the history of Mormon art.
