Knoxville History Project: A Summer in Knoxville

Come enjoy a cool beverage and see some images of summertime in Knoxville, many of them from rarely seen postcards, showing what both locals and tourists enjoyed about the city in the warmest months, from ice cream to soda pop to baseball and springs resorts. You may recognize some things in our slideshow, but we bet we’ll surprise you with some others.
