Sunday Get Down

Come dance, listen, grab a drink, socialize, and enjoy the vibes!
• No dance experience needed: Come listen to the tunes, grab a drink or snack and chill, or learn something new. Everyone welcome.
• No dance partner required: Whether you’re bringing friends or looking to meet some, everyone’s invited!
• All dance styles welcome: Swing, Carolina shag, blues, West Coast swing, salsa, cha-cha, bachata all have rhythms that work well to the music. And, of course, solo dancing is encouraged!
• 10% of The Sunday Get Down’s proceeds go to The Bottom, a nonprofit community center and Black-affirming bookshop. They strive to build community, celebrate culture, and engage the creativity of Black people in Knoxville.
• We expect all attendees to contribute to a safe, harassment-free environment, embracing diversity in all its forms. Let’s dance, learn, and celebrate together!
